Jodie's Quilting Rubber Duckie

Jodie

I started collecting rubber ducks because they made me smile. When I discovered the old collectible duckies I became enchanted with their beauty and soon began dreaming of marrying my passions for quilting and rubber duckies. My opportunity arose through my friendship with entrepreneur Craig Wolfe, father of the Celebriducks flock. With Craig's encouragement I drew up sketches and my dream was launched.

As you can see our Quilting Rubber Duckie is chain piecing up a storm with her rotary cutter, scissors and fabric. And she's a pretty duck, like those made in the golden years of toy making in the United States.

"I just received the 'quilt duckie' and it's absolutely adorable ... thank you!!!! It's a perfect gift! -Terry Tanner Waterville, NY
You can get a glimpse of the process of creating a rubber duckie on my blog at www.diaryofarubberduckiedesigner.blogspot.com and you can see my collection at my duckie web site at www.rubberduckie.net
